If you're not familiar with how Makeship works, it's similar to Kickstarter in that the plushies are only manufactured if the campaign is successful. This means that we're counting on you, our INCREDIBLE community, to help get Sparky plushies into the adoring hands of fans across the globe.
The campaign will only run for 21 days, and in that time we need to sell at least a few hundred Sparky's. Please spread the news to any friends you have who may be interested! If this campaign goes well, we may make more plushies with Makeship in the future!

We're so excited to finally share this with everyone!
SunnySide will be releasing on PC (Steam and Epic) on May 24, 2024 and Consoles (PlayStation5 and Xbox X|S) on July 10, 2024.

You may have also noticed that we've been sharing some fun pictures across social media, and we're excited to announce that you'll be able to pre-order your very own Sparky Plushie later today, April 11, at 8pm ET!
We've partnered up with our friends at Makeship to make this Sparky plushie happen, and the campaign will only run for 21 days, so be sure to get your order in fast! Hey SunnySide Fam!
So much happened in March that we wanted to do a bit of a "wrap up" to get everyone caught up. Honestly struggling to believe that it's already April.
March Wrap-Up
SunnySide was part of WINGS! The WINGs event was a week long and included two showcases that SunnySide was a part of: the WINGs Women's Day Steam Sale, and the WLG 3 day Women's Month showcase. We were able to launch a new trailer during this showcase, which you can find below!
You'll notice that this trailer also announced the SunnySide Demo that's now available on Steam! If you haven't played it yet, it's the first 10 days of the game, and gives you the ability to interact with most of the important mechanics in game! If you haven't checked it out yet, yooouuuuuu definitely should. ^_^
SunnySide also took a trip to GDC this year, where fans got the chance to play the demo and chat with our publisher, Merge. Here are some images from the event.
Also, in case you missed it:
In February, we put out an announcement about Consoles. We confirmed that SunnySide would be coming to PlayStation and Xbox X | S later this year. Nintendo Switch is noticeably missing from this list, and we promised that we would be sending out an email about how anyone who pre-ordered on Switch could fix this order.
This has taken some time to work out with the publisher (specially with everything else going on) and we wanted to assure everyone that we have not forgotten about you. Emails will definitely be going out in the next few days, and we'll post another update when they do.
What's new?
We have been sharing some exciting things on Discord over the last couple days, so we wanted to make sure everyone here got to see that as well:
Firstly, SunnySide is now available for Pre-Order on PS5! Most everyone reading this update already has a digital copy of SunnySide coming their way, but if you're interested in a physical copy, you can start pre-ordering them on any trusted website now. Hello SunnySide Fam!
I hope your year is off to a great start! We had lots of exciting things happen at the end of 2023, so here's a round up of all the content from the end of last year.
At the end of December we had our Winter Developer Livestream #7. If you missed it, you can catch up on it below. We took the time to go over all that had happened in 2023 as well as share some of the results from the playtests all you lovely KickStarter backers have been enjoying since last October.
We had a couple special treats for everyone in the live stream. Our incredible composer Matt Thompson, was kind enough to gift the community with a live recording session of SunnySide's Winter Theme. You can check that out below:

Last but not least, we also got a nice gift from Kevin Espiritu over at Epic Gardening, where he officially announced the partnership between Epic Gardening and SunnySide.
2023 was a heck of a year. The highlight for us was definitely giving all of you a chance to finally take another look at SunnySide first hand, and we want to take a moment to thank everyone who has taken part in the playtests so far. We're hard at work implementing some of the feedback we've received as well as fixing up all those pesky bugs, and we're hoping we'll be able to announce another round of playtests soon. Your continued support and feedback has been invaluable, and we're going to keep working hard to make SunnySide the best game it can be!
